Wheelchair Service
You can hire a wheelchair from us. A deposit of £10 (refundable) will be charged and the daily rate of hire is £5.00. Weekly rate is £18.00. Please collect from us.
Drivers
Our volunteer drivers will give transport for all medical appointments - Doctors, Hospital, Chiropody etc. (A small fee is charged to cover petrol at 46.9p per mile) Please give at least 5 days notice. To become a volunteer driver contact us on 01702 215780.
Friendship
We offer a befriending service, where our volunteer will visit on a regular basis to give a few hours of friendly company to a lonely person. To become a volunteer befriender contact us on 01702 215780
Street Warden
Who when contacted by us will call upon an elderly person in need in the local area.
Advice & Information
Our office holds leaflets and various information sources for older people and their families seeking help.

Outside Surgeries
We are happy to provide this facility and we are already running several surgeries in the Borough. Talks are available free of charge for your club and association. Please contact the office for details.
Hearing Aid Batteries (free)
These can be exchanged in our office on the lower ground floor, Civic Centre, or by post if you are unable to get into us. Please send SAE for this service.
