Age Concern Southend currently run four community clubs around the Southend area.

All of our clubs are open to anyone over the age of 60 and over the age of 50 for Club 50+. For more information about what’s on over the coming months please contact our team on 01702 345373. Todman Centre -Rayleigh

Join us every Monday from 2-4pm at the Todman Centre, Castle Rd, Rayleigh SS6 7QF.

£2 including refreshments

Activities include entertainment from local musicians, guest speakers, quizzes and games and lunches for special occasions such as Christmas and Easter.

 

Wesley Methodist Church -Leigh on Sea

Join us every Tuesday from 2-4pm at the Wesley Methodist Church, Elm Rd, Southend-on-Sea, Leigh-on-Sea SS9 1SJ.

£2 including refreshments

Activities include entertainment from local musicians, guest speakers, quizzes and games and lunches out every third Tuesday of the month.

 

St Peters Church Hall – Shoeburyness *starting September*

Join us on the 1st and 2nd Wednesday of every month from 2-4pm at St Peters Church Hall, Hinguar Street, Shoeburyness, SS3 9AN.

£2 including refreshments

Activities include entertainment from local musicians, guest speakers, quizzes and games.

 

Club 50+ 

Club 50+ are located in our community hub, The Haven, at 138-140 Hamlet Court Road. We are open from 9am to 4.30pm Monday to Friday and will be opening later into the evenings and weekends from Summer 2019.

The club offers a variety of activities ranging from tai chi and belly dancing to snooker and carpet bowls. The club is also a safe and welcoming space for all over 50’s to meet people, learn new skill, get involved with the community and enjoy a light lunch and a cup of tea.
