All aboard, tickets please!

On Wednesday 26th February we were lucky enough to be able to invite some older guests for a trip on Arriva Herts and Essex talking bus along with the Mayor and Mayoress. They embarked at Westcliff then took s short ride through the town to Shoebury where children from Friars Primary School joined them.

The bus set off again and everyone enjoyed a look around the Southend Pier Museum. It was a chilly wait in the wind to catch the train to the end of the pier but there was a delicious lunch ready for all. It was a great day and so lovely to see the young people chatting away with the older generation.
