Are you considering leaving a gift in your will to Age Concern Southend-on-Sea?
Wills are very important documents to allow control over your Estate and ensure that your assets are disposed as you would wish. When you are making a will you naturally want to make sure that your loved ones are cared for. By leaving a gift in your will to our small independent charity you can also make sure that older people in the Southend area continue to get the help they need from us.
We work to improve and maintain health and well being in people aged 60+ by offering support, advice and guidance, helping people make informed decisions about any thing they need.
We hear from and help older people, from all backgrounds, that they are often simply overwhelmed by the loneliness they feel and by using our services have found ways to manage their loneliness, meet new people, keep active and stay healthy. Whether its just using our cafe, hiring our wheelchairs to help them get out, attending one of our keep fit classes or classes aimed at socialising and hobbies, having fun at our events, using our telephone befriending service, counselling sessions or attending our Dementia Day Service, we are striving to reach people all the time. A donation in your will can help us continue these services and do more for the community to help Southend age better.
A gift in your will could:
- Help us to provide more services to older people in Southend
- Pay for class tutors for the Community Hub
- Fund DBS checks and training for our volunteers
- Fund crafts and games for the specialist day service
Making a will is one of the most important decisions you will ever make so be sure to talk to your family and friends and seek the advise of a professional. We also have some more information on our useful information page.
